The Statement Made by the Artist about Art, or the Artist, or Both, or Neither

Art can be described as the attempt at representing the Divine Source (All That Is) as it flows through this channel we identify as the mind and body. The mind and body operate in a world of illusion and perception. Illusion and perception are the very building blocks of what humans typically call 'Art.'

I see what I do not only as my representation of the Divine Source, but also the vehicle for the Divine Source to act through me. So as not to limit what God can do (he said with a smile), I will not classify or quantify or label what I create or how I create other than to say that my work has certain tendencies toward people and not things; story; acts of doing; and over-doing; unusual presentation; absurdity; and playing games with texture and color.
